A quiet inbox does not explain why an application did not convert. Start by separating the market, the role, the evidence and the way the candidate communicates it.

Start with the blockage

Before prescribing another course, look at the roles being targeted, the requirements of those roles and what the candidate can already demonstrate. A degree or certificate can describe learning without making contribution visible. Ask: which applications are getting a reply, which roles keep recurring, and what a shortlisted candidate would need to show in the first screen.

Make contribution explainable

Choose one work sample and walk through the problem, your decisions, your contribution and what you changed after feedback. Prefer a small, defensible piece of work over a long list of tools. Practise saying it aloud until someone else can follow the story without guessing.

Choose the next useful intervention

The next step may be role clarity, reviewed practice or professional communication. It should follow the diagnosis. WorkReady is paid capability development, not a placement or vacancy service — use it when you need structured practice and review, not as a substitute for applying to roles.
